Note: To view and print the factsheet, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader®.

Download the 2003 WEDA (Western Dredging Association) Conference paper called "DESIGNING BORROW PIT CAD SITES: REMEMBER NEWTON'S THIRD LAW" that illustrates a prime application of SPI technology. This also requires Adobe Acrobat Reader and is about 850 KB in size. To open it directly, click on the link below.

Download the Adobe Acrobat file of the 1995 AMOP (Arctic and Marine Oilspill Program) Conference paper called, "Sediment Profile Imaging: A Rapid Seafloor Assessment Tool for Oilspills". It's about 1.1 megabytes and can be opened directly by clicking on the link below:

Download the Adobe Acrobat file of the 2006 WEDA Conference paper called, "Marine Log Transfer Facilities and Wood Waste: When Dredging is not Your Final Answer". It's about 2 megabytes in size and can be opened directly by clicking on the link below:

Because of the recent requests I've received for some of the first publications on the sediment profile camera, I've scanned both of the early publications (1982, 1986) and have them available for download as Adobe Acrobat files. The first is the original REMOTS paper "Characterization of Organism Sediment Relations Using Sediment Profile Imaging"; it's about 2.5 megabytes in size. The second is "Interpreting Long-Term Changes in Benthic Community Structure: A New Protocol". It's about 5 megabytes in size; either of these can be opened directly by clicking on the links below:
